Jared checked in for the Gail Force out of San Pedro. We had very very good fishing for our small family charter group. We had 12 people on board and it definitely felt like summer here today. Really really good calico bass fishing. We ended up with 58 (just shy of limits) for our 12 passengers and we did have a little go around on the big jumbo yellowtail. We went 1 for 3 on those, and got 1 nice halibut, some whitefish, and sheephead for the guys and kids that were fishing the bottom. Every zone had good bass fishing with steady all day long. Ryan checked in for the Sport King out of San Pedro. Just talked to Anthony and they're having a decent day over at the island. A few shots at the yellowtail, not exactly sure how many are on the boat but the picture shows one nice one! And they're picking away at the bass, bonito, barracuda. We have a super light load tomorrow, Monday, leaving at 6 am, fishing Catalina. We're still good for the 2 for 1 special, that goes for the rest of the month. Jared checked in for the Gail Force out of San Pedro. We had another good day of fishing at the island. The water temp jumped up quite a bit, and the sun was out all day. It really helped the fishing. We had really good bass fishing throughout the day. We were able to land 4 yellows, and we lost 1. We did get lucky with a nice white seabass as well. Besides the good bass fishing, the guys were picking up whitefish and sheephead, and we had a good go around on the halibut in the afternoon. All in all, a good day of fishing. We started the day with a nice little flurry of yellows we ended up putting 4 on in the morning, can't tell you how many we lost. We ended up picking up 1 more yellowtail later on in the day for a total of 5 and lost about 8 or 9. Good bass fishing to go along with it--right around 20-25 bass, and really good whitefish and sheephead for the guys fishing the bottom. Jared has the latest report for you below.
