Light load, the cost is $125pp. Focusing on shallow water stuff, kelp lines, see if we can catch a bass, maybe a yellowtail, bonito, or barracuda. And then probably rockfishing for a while. Ryan checked in for the Gail Force out of Long Beach. Gail Force wrapped up their day today with 17 Calico Bass, 33 Whitefish, 5 Sheephead,  32 Vermilion Rockfish, 9 Blue Perch and 12 Spanish Jack for their 16 anglers.

Bruce checked in for the Sport King. Looks like we're okay for tomorrow, weather permitting.  Yesterday was okay, we caught some calico bass and a couple guys had limits that really worked at it. And had quite a few whitefish and sheepshead in the kelp line. We got some really big sheepshead and a bunch of rockcod in the deeper water. Weather permitting tomorrow's trip is a go for now. Jared checked in for the Gail Force out of Long Beach. We fished Catalina Island today with 18 people. It started off good. We had really good bass fishing in the morning, and then definitely slowed down a little for us. We picked and scratched and had really good action on the shorts. We managed to put together a decent day. We ended up with 20 legal bass, and a decent amount of whitefish and sheephead for the guys fishing the bottom. Ryan checked in for the Gail Force out of Long Beach. Gail Force had some nice springtime fishing today at Catalina Island with a light load of just 15 anglers.
The group ended the day with 38 Calico Bass, 1 Bonito, 2 Barracuda, 73 Whitefish, 30 Red Snapper, 25 Rockfish and 55 Spanish Mackerel.

Jared checked in for the Gail Force out of Long Beach. We had 15 anglers on an open party trip. It was very very good island fishing. We started off fishing the kelp lines half of our group fishing the surface and the other half fishing the bottom. We had really really good bass fishing. We ended up with 38 legal bass. Most of the guys had their limit. Also had pretty good action on the barracuda. The guys fishing the bottom got all the whitefish they could handle. We did a few drifts in the deep water for cod at the end of the day. We got limits of reds. It definitely doesn't get better than that for spring fishing. Jared has the latest report for you below.

Jared checked in for the Gail Force out of Long Beach. We had 16 anglers on board. Good cod fishing in the deep water today. We ended up with limits of reds and pretty much rounded up the bags with the rest of the rockfish there. We split the day up between the deep water and the shallow kelp line. A little slower today in terms of surface stuff, but we scratched at some short bass and some barracuda and had really good whitefish fishing. Not a bad day by any means.
