Our 20 anglers caught 67 calico bass released, 47 calico bass, 33 perch, 24 whitefish, 13 sheephead, 5 halibut released, 2 yellowtail, 2 barracuda, and 1 halibut.

Sport king headed to the Island today with 30 anglers and managed to capture   1 yellowtail, 35 Calico Bass, 110 Calico Bass released, 46 bonito, 18 barracuda, and 14 sheephead. The morning was good then we lost our condition in the afternoon.

Ryan checked in for the Gail Force out of San Pedro. Super super small group today, had super fishing over at Catalina, five to five Catalina trip. The guys ended up with seven yellowtail, lost a few more than that, picked away at the bass, Bonita, and Barracuda. Weather's great, fishing was good, all the yellowtail, they're coming off of mixed things, so they're coming out with us, 15 to 25 pound gear.

We are for sure go Friday, Saturday, Sunday, kind of a rare weekend, we had a couple charters that had to cancel due to family issues for the weekend. So we are online and going for sure, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 5 a.m., Catalina Island. If you guys like to join us, bring 15 to 25 pound gear, an assortment of hooks, some sliding egg sinkers, all that stuff, but fishing with anchovies, so light line's been the best.

Ryan checked in for the Triton out of San Pedro. Got a nice day today, 14 people, 4 yellowtail. A hook, 7 or 8 of them, got 4 on board. 57 calico bass, some jumbo blue perch, I think 4 or 5 bonita, 7 barracuda, a lot of action. Had some good opportunities to get the yellowtail on the boat. Some got away and some made it on, but fun fishing. Weather was a little funky this morning, but the afternoon laid right out and we had a good day with a nice group of people.

So we're going again, next opportunity will be Thursday, 5 a.m., Catalina Island, 25 people max, bunks included. And then I think, we'll have some room on the weekend. Talk to you later.

We had a nice day over Catalina once again, 18 people, limits of calico bass at 90, 90 calico bass, a million thrown back, 20 sheephead, 11 barracuda, and a lot of shorts on those too. We got a few spots left for tomorrow. Tomorrow's two-for-one Tuesday, after that, next availability will be Friday. Friday's a for-sure-go with a light load, and everything's going according to summertime plan here. Bring that light line, 15, 20 pound, bring a 25 pound just in case, but kind of a novice group today, didn't focus on the yellowtail, just focused on getting the kids and the people some fish, and that's exactly what they did. So, we'll be back out tomorrow morning with a few spots, leaving at six, and then Friday 6 a.m., heading to the island, getting back around five. We'll talk to you later.

It was good fishing with all kinds of fish, except the yellowtail that we hooked, for some reason, the people decided they didn't want them, so they busted them off. But, we hooked 6 yellowtail, let them all go, and caught plenty of bass, barracuda, and bonito. Hopefully, after the pressure goes away today over at the island, we'll be back at it again tomorrow.
