Triton Big Yellowtail! June 17th 2019

Triton fished the Island today with a nice light load of just 19 anglers. Fishing was on the slow side but we did find an area of jumbo Yellowtail that wanted to play for a bit. We went 2 for 5 on the big grade Yellows also boating 31 Legal Calico Bass, some Barracuda, Bonito and lots of Spanish Jack for Paul!
Triton’s next Open Party Limited Load Trip departs this Thursday at 5am returning around 5pm. Limited to only 25 anglers at $110 per person. Bunks are available for everyone aboard and your catch with always chill in our 35 degree RSW Fish Hold!

Slower fishing again today for the Triton but better signs of Yellowtail. We ended up going 5 for 9 on the Yellows with a sprinkling of other assorted fish aboard. Tomorrow is a new day with likely less boat traffic and hopefully better biting fish.

Capt. Jared put another excellent group of anglers on the fish! Just 16 anglers out today put 41 Yellowtail aboard the boat along with some Calico Bass, Bonito and Barracuda! The good fishing goes on and the weather remains outstanding!

Gail Force and Triton have a few 5am-5pm Limited Load Open party trips in the books for the month of June. All trips depart at 5 am returning around 5 pm. Fishing Catalina Island for Yellowtail, Calico Bass and other surface species. Gail Force is Limited to only 20 anglers and Triton Limited to 25 anglers. Gail Force has ample inside and outside seating for all passengers. Triton offers galley seating for 15 passengers, 25 bunks (which are always available) and a 32-degree RSW Fish Hold to keep your catch in prime condition.

Gail Force enjoyed flat clam weather with a great group today at Catalina Island. You really had to work to get a bite today but the group fished hard and ended the day with some nice Yellowtail and other misc surface species.

Gail Force had a small charter group at the Island today going 2 for 5 on the Yellowtail with a few other species in the mix. The water is recovering from last weeks wind with water temps close to 65 degrees seen today and much cleaner water.
Gail Force has few spots that just became available for this Friday’s 5am-5pm Trip. We will be fishing Catalina Island for surface fish with no more than 20 anglers. Cost is $100 per person.
