They had decent fishing yesterday with a pretty good pick on the bass. For some reason, the yellowtail they hooked yesterday escaped, but hopefully tomorrow they won't. Ryan checked in for the Gail Force out of San Pedro. Nice day at the Island aboard the Gail Force with one of our regular Charter group.  The small group ended their day with 10 Anglers catching 2 Yellowtail, 40 Calico Bass, 25 Released, 5 sheephead, 5 whitefish, 31 Bonito, and 3 Barracuda.

Bring 15 to 30 lb test. Size 2 to 3/0 hooks and your arsenal of jigs and plastics. 11 passangers, 15 sheephead, 22 whitefish, 36 calico bass, 60 released, 50 bonito, 18 halfmoon, and 13 barracuda.

Ryan checked in for Sport King out of La Waterfront Sportfishing. It ended up being a fun day today at Catalina. We had a great group, and the fish were active. Steady calico bass, barracuda, bonito, and other kelp dwellers were coming over the rail. We had our chance at some yellowtail, and even struck up a nice white seabass.  We had beautiful weather and good times. Our 32 passangers caught 1 white seabass, 48 calico bass, 50 released, 15 barracuda, 80 bonito, 9 whitefish, 50 halfmoon perch, and 8 sheephead.

Two for One this Tuesday and every Tuesday departing at 6am fishing Catalina Island. $180 for two angers!! That’s only $90 per person!!!!  We will be fishing Catalina Island targeting Yellowtail, Calico Bass and more.

We dad a couple of shots at Yellowtail, and we picked at some calico bass and other kelp dwellers. We even captured a nice halibut! It was a fun day with beautiful weather. Our 31 passengers caught 1 yellowtail, 1 halibut, 37 bonito, 25 half moon perch, 9 sheephead, 6 barracuda, 2 sculpin, 29 whitefish, 31 calico bass, and 50 calico bass released.

Shane checked in for the Triton out of San Pedro. We've been seeing mixed grade yellows 5-30lbs pretty much every day now. We landed 3 smaller ones today, unfortunately lost all 3 that we hooked yesterday, and had 2 on Thursday. It's gotten a little tougher, but we're still picking away at the bass, with some barracuda, bonito, perch, and whitefish in the mix.

Anthony checked in for Sport King out of La Waterfront Sportfishing. We had decent fishing today. It wasn't easy by any means, with a brief opportunity at some nicer fish. We had to really work at it, but we still managed to put some fish in the bags. Overall, it was a fun day. A slow day of fishing is better than a long day at work. Our 25 passengers caught 1 yellowtail, 3 bonito, 34 barracuda, 22 calico bass, 40 released, 9 sheephead, and 20 whitefish.
