Our 11 anglers out today on a private charter had a decent shot at the Yellowtail. The small group went 4 for 8 on the Yellowtail along with some good action on the Calico Bass (Legals and shorts) and other assorted surface fish at the Island.

Frustrating day today with a novice group that had potential to have a great day! The yellows were just too mean for our group today. Hook a lot and lost a bunch. We had some bass and other things today but the highlight was the Yellowtail.

A bit of improvement today at the Island. The very light charter group put 10 Yellowtail on the boat along with a smattering of Calico Bass, Bonito, and Barracuda. We are hoping this continues as we are out all week long!

A few pictures from today’s trips..... Nothing is jumping in the boat as of late but the boys are working hard and covering a lot of water to find a new batch of biting fish. As soon as this water cleans up we are confident the fish will be back on the chew!

Both boats had a very nice start to the week with big Yellowtail on the bite! Thursday the water in our area rolled and the fishing got very tough! We are out daily working hard to find some new fish. Today we found a few willing biters along with some Bass and other kelp line specimens.

So far it's been a great start to the week aboard both the Gail Force and Triton. The boys have had some phenomenal BIG Yellowtail fishing at the Island. To top it off the grade of this fish is very impressive! The Yellows have been eager to bite the flylined sardine on 25-40lb line. They have also been hitting the surface jig very well at times!

Triton and Gail Force have just a few 5am-5pm Limited Load Open Party trips scheduled for the rest of this month and into September.
