Hello Anglers, Triton is running a 5am-5pm Limited Load Open Party Trip this Wednesday June 17th! We will be fishing Catalina Island for Yellowtail, Calico Bass and other surface species. Limited to only 20 anglers. $125 per person. Face mask is required to board vessel. We have been fishing the Island daily with good results. Nice Calico Bass fishing going on now with a sample of good grade Yellowtail around daily too. If you plan on joining us, 20lb-40lb gear with a 1/0 - 2/0 size hook is really all you need. Please make sure your line is new!

Had one of our regular charter groups today aboard the Gail Force looking for yellows. It took a lot of driving and a lot of patients but in the end the boys found them. Unfortunately, we lost triple what we landed but that’s fishing. The small group also sacked up 25 nice calico bass along with the yellowtail.
Next trip with room is Monday the 15th.

Capt Jared of the Gail Force checked out Catalina Island today and found LIMITS OF YELLOWTAIL for himself and 3 friends! They were biting everything!

Gail Force, Full Day Catalina Report, March 8th

Gail Force ran their first Full Day Catalina Island trips this weekend and the Island didn't disappoint! Today we had Yellowtail, Calico Bass, Bonito, Barracuda, Big Reds and a token Lingcod make into the boat. We started the morning off with some of the best Red (vermilion) rock fishing we have ever seen from Catalina. After loading the bags with rockfish we slid into the shallows for a shot at some Yellowtail going 2 for 4 with fish boiling around the boat for awhile. Unfortunately most the guys didn't have the light tackle these fish wanted. At one point we also had some full speed Bonito fishing and a steady pick at the Calico Bass to go with it! All in all it was a great day weekend on the water with some great passengers.
Our next Open Party Limited Load Catalina trip will be Sunday March 22nd departing at 5am. THIS TRIP IS A FOR SURE GO!
