Memorial Day, Monday! Gail Force will be running a 5 AM-5 PM Limited Load Open Party trip fishing Catalina Island. The trip is limited to 20 anglers at $125ea. ONLY 6 signed up so far and we are “A GO” We will be on the hunt for Yellowtail, Calico Bass, and other surface fish at the Island. 15-30lb gear with #1 to 1/0 hooks is really all you need.

Gail Force had a little pick on the yellowtail today going 4 for 8 at Catalina Island. Some bass, sheephead and other random species also made it aboard throughout the day.

Gail Force is running a 5am-5pm Limited Load Open Party trip this Monday, Memorial Day! This trip is limited to only 20 anglers at $125 per person.

Today Triton captured a couple of yellows, picked away at the calico bass also bagged up some sheephead and perch for their small charter group. Nothing is coming easy at the Island lately but we are getting a few shots at the yellowtail daily. We are picking away at the calico bass, barracuda, and other Island critters. The guys fishing hard and changing their baits constantly are doing the best!

Triton has a few spots open this Saturday and Sunday fishing Catalina Island. The boat departs at 5 AM returning around 5 PM. Limited to only 25 anglers.

Triton is a “For Sure Go” this Friday with only 7 anglers signed up! We will be surface fishing all day at Catalina Island looking for Yellowtail, Calico Bass, Bonito and more.

Bring your 15-30lb set ups and be ready to change your baits a lot! Boat departs at 5am from LA Waterfront Cruises in San Pedro and is limited to only 25 anglers.

Over the weekend Triton had some shots at Yellowtail, landing a few. Not the biggest Yellowtail but its a start. Along with Yellows the Bonito and Calico Bass were biting. We also had a few Halibut and some bottom critters to round out the catch.
