Gail Force has a 5 am-5 pm Island Freelance Trip departing this Thursday at 5 am. We will be keeping tabs on the tuna and if it stays in range we will do that, if not we will head to the Island. An email will be sent to all signed up the day before the trip so you can plan on what gear to bring.

Light line, smaller hooks, bait selection, and patience are the name of the game at Catalina Island so far this season.
Triton had one of their regular charter groups out today catch a few big Yellowtail, with fair action on all the other Island surface fish.
We have a few spots open for this Wednesday departing at 5 am fishing Catalina Island.

Gail Force Fun Day At The Islands!

Picked away all day today aboard the Gail Force when the Sea Lions gave us a break. Fun action at the Island with light line and small hooks. The guys that work hard at it and change their baits constantly are the ones getting bit.

Our small, mostly novice, charter spent the day at the Island today enjoying lots of action on the flylined baits. We picked away at the Calico Bass and Barracuda along with decking a nice 28lb Yellowtail! Light line and small hooks are key right now.
THIS SUNDAY, July 11th, Gail Force has 10 spots available for a 5 am - 5 pm Limited Load Open Party Trip heading over to the Island.
